Albion kept eye contact with Lavina as she was freed from a few of the wires attatched to her petite hand. No one could make him look away now. All those nights and days of watching her develope into the full human body of a woman had now paid off. She was moving...interacting, and even smiling! Albion had to admit to himself that he didn't get his hopes up, and almost expected Lavina to fade away just like all the others before him and after. But seeing her animated and looking at him with her beautiful angelic blue eyes; Albion knew she would be with him from now untill the end. She was made for him, afterall. As her hands connected with the glass to try and touch his, Albion felt so at ease inside. And when she smiled at him he could barely contain the things he was feeling. He smiled back, wanting to make her feel comfortable and welcomed. She was now his responsibility to train in the ways of being human, for the most part at least. The scientists still had to be apart of things, since their creation was all for conducting studies and not much more. In this world they would never be thought of as real humans. Only artificial copies. "Release her....she's ready." Albion said, gazing into Lavina's bubbly blue orbs that were filled with so much curiosity and childlike vitality.

Blinking, Tsugi brought his knees up to his chest and gently lifted his arm, trailing his fingers around Amorica’s palm before laying his hand flat against the girl’s. It was a bit odd to be doing this, but a lot more entertaining than identifying screams. After all, this was human interaction... Or at least something of the sort. He considered saying something but decided against it, not wanting to break tradition. After all, with tradition broken, who was to say that Amorica would ever come back? She could probably have just found someone else to stare at, which wasn’t something that Tsugi particularly wanted.
Tenten watched in slight fascination at the scene unfolding, telling himself to just be quiet for now. As hilarious as it was to see Albion’s ‘soft side’, it probably wouldn’t have been good for the newly hatched Lavina if he burst out laughing. And even though Tenten often messed things up purposely and acted extremely dumb constantly, he never did something that would jeopardize anything as big as this. He looked to the boy who’d come out, nodding. “I haven’t heard much on this one... But from what I know, this seems like it would be a very unexpected outcome.” He was sure to speak softly, so as to not hurt the new creature’s sensitive ears.

Amorica smiled as their hands somewhat met on the glass. The glass that suspended them, two worlds apart. She couldn't really remember when she had started going to see Tsugi. In fact, she didn't even know which one of them had been there longer. All she knew was that she enjoyed going to visit him at night. Her orange eyes stayed locked on their hands for a moment before looking up to meet his reptilian eyes. She smiled slightly at him, though it was hard to read the smile. Was it full of pity, friendship, or something else? Perhaps she didn't even know. One would wonder how a girl in her situation could even think about smiling. She knew it must have looked horrific. A girl stained in blood, smiling as if she enjoyed it. Her metallic wings creaked slightly as they moved on their own behind her.

The boy heard Albion's request and sighed, "Well, the others will be angry if I release her... Buuuut.. I don't really care, so okay." The boy walked back to the little room and one by one, pushed each button to make each tube and wire attached to her release and float up. As soon as every wire was dettached he pressed intercom button. "Okay guys.. someone's gonna have to give up a coat or something.. 'Cause I don't think the paper towels from this bathroom back here are gonna work very well to cover and dry her off." He then pushed the final button to start emptying the gooey liquid into the drain at the bottom of the tube, slowly lowering Lavina down to the bottom of the tube as well. When the goo was nearly all gone, Lavina began to cough it all out of her lungs and adapt the oxygen desperately and curled up on the bottom of the tube in pain from the new atmosphere of air instead of liquid. After all the liquid was emptied out, the glass tube automatically opened up, lifting into the cieling. Lavina coughed and made quiet painful moans, holding her ears which were still popping from entering into air.

Tsugi looked over the smile, not really thinking much of it. If Amorica was happy, she was happy. There wasn’t much to it to him... He glanced at her wings as they moved, wondering for what could have been the thousandth time if those were what let her escape so freely. Freedom... It really sounded more like some delusional fantasy to him than his past life, but that was the way he preferred it. He didn’t really have to make many decisions for himself, and that made things easier on him. By now, he was sure he would have had to get a job and started paying taxes and such on the outside world. No such luck for him in his cage. Although, he had to wonder if the air tasted different out there. It was just a subtle curiosity of his.

Amorica smiled to herself. Hugging her knees to her chest, thoughts buzzed through her mind. She wasn't quite sure what compelled her to come visit Tsugi so often. There was simply a lonely aura about him that she wanted to cure. Though it was rather hard to cure anything in such a place they were in. Her eyes fell downcast to the cement floor, and she bagan to trace random doodles in the dust. She could see a handprint she had made during one of her past visits. Footprints of some small creature were in the dust as well. Various blood drops stained the floor from the wings that cursed her so, but she ignored them. She suddenly heard nearby footsteps, and instantly looked up. She recognized the footsteps. They were the scientist's, Rella. Rell with her short wavy hair. For some reason, Rella hated Amorica, she knew not why. She had caught Amorica near Tsugi's cell a few times, and that never made her happy. Amorica quickly hopped up, wincing as the IV slightly tugged at her arm.
Rella walked down the halls, following the trails of blood. That silly experiment still didn't understand how easy it was to find her. She pushed her thin rimmed glasses higher up on the bridge of her nose. A glare was held in her eyes as it usually was. She took pleasure in the many screams that echoed throughout the building. She saw the experiment before she was about to get away. After all, this experiment was extremely slow. "SZ103!" Rella growled, grabbing Amoricha roughly by the arm. "Correct?" Amorica winced and simply nodded. The wings behind her back creaked irritably. "You little escape artist." Hatred flared in Rella's eyes. "Always thinking you can get away."
"I wasn't trying to escape..." Amorica said quietly. It was most likely the first time Tsugi had heard her voice. It was extremly quiet from not being used much, but it had an almost hypnotizing quality about it. "Of course you weren't trying to escape," Rell growled back." She suddenly grabbed the metallic wing of the youn experiment and bent it at an odd position, causing a loud scream of pain to rise from Amorica's throat. "I'll make sure you never escape that cell again," Rell growled with a final tug at the wing, ignoring the tears of pain gatherin in Amorica's eyes. To her, she was simply SZ103.

Tsugi frowned as Amorica suddenly got up and tried to get away. That was unfortunate... She was usualy able to stay at least a little longer. Unfortuntately, she wasn’t nearly fast enough to escape the aproaching Rella. Tsugi listened to the conversation, honestly a bit worried about what would happen to the girl. Rella was sort of... Nasty? Well, Tsugi didn’t really like going that far while thinking about people, but he couldn’t really help it. He jumped up quickly as he saw Amorica’s wing being abused, feeling an odd sickly feeling come over him. “Stop,” he called out, a bit of anger swirling within his eyes and hiss coming to his voice.

Rella froze when she heard the experiment call out from the other side of the glass. She had nearly forgotten him. It was a rare day when Tsugi spoke to anyone, especially scientists. Rella's eyes, full of anger, stayed locked on the snake-like boy, Amorica's wing still in her grasp. "Why?" she questioned simply in her cruel tone. "She is simply an experiment, as are you. Do you have feelings for her?" Her glare intensified, not moving from Tsugi. "Shall I sign her up for another surgery? I wonder how many more surgeries SZ103 can take before she completely shuts down...." A cruel grin played across Rella's face. She loved toying with others. The blood that began to flow more rapidly from the root of the wing that she clutched reflected in her eyes. Experiments were so interesting, really. Yet they were so hard to understand at the same time.

Tsugi felt rage well up inside him furiously as Rella continued to speak, but his face dulled down to usual. There was nothing really he could do in this situation, so there was no reason for him to act out. “There’s something wrong with you...” he sighed, rolling his eyes as he went back to his bed and laid down. He hoped that she would just put Amorica back into her cell, but sort of doubted it. Oh well, the more that happened the more Tsugi would do to her as soon as he was let out of the cage around her, whenever that might be. Because unless one of them died first, it would happen. Tsugi was very good at holding and carrying through with grudges.

Rella smiled to herself as the experiment backed down. Everyone backed down to her in the end, and if they didn't, they usually ended up dead. Turning back to SZ103, she tightened her grip on the young experiment's wing. "Let's see what soarts of fun we can do with these wings of yours." With that, she headed off, pulling Amorica along by the metallic wings. Amorica's screams were mixed with sobs as the two slowly trailed away from Tsugi's cell. Rella wasn't even phased by the tears of the younger one. "Tenten!" she called. She knew that Tenten was a rather humorous scientist, but most of the time when Rella was around, he tried to be more serious than usual, as most scientists did. He would surely help punish the young experiment that had snuck out one too many times.

Tsugi picked at his scales lightly as he tried his best to ignore Amorica’s pained screams, all the while his anger just building. He would get revenge on Rella... She could just wait and see. Maybe he’d eat her whole; he’d been told that he could devour objects larger than his head, so he’d have to give it a try. He smiled maliciously, curling up under his blanket and attempting without much luck to get to sleep again. Tsugi didn’t even want to try and decipher the screams coming from everywhere, for he knew that it would mostly just be from one person.
Tenten’s ears perked up as he heard his name being called, turning his head back to look out towards the hall. As fascinating as it was to watch the development of this artificial human thing, he knew he wouldn’t serve much more purpose staying there. He was sure he’d hear all about it later, anyway. Waving a silent good-bye to anyone who was paying attention, he snuck away and out the door to find Rella dragging one of the more failed experiments. “What are you doing?” he asked, his eyes widening slightly at the amount of blood pouring from the wings. If it kept going at that rate, the packets of blood attached to SZ103 wouldn’t be enough, and she would die. That would have made the entire experiment a failure.

Rella's chocolate brown eyes sent the experiment a glare and tugged slightly harder at the metallic wing. "She snuck out again," she growled. The red specks in her eyes made her look extremely threatening. "It's that damn Tsugi she keeps going to see. She has no right to be out of her cell other than for surgury." By now, Amorica's sobs were choked, and her whole body shook as she cried. Rella simply ignored her. "I'm sick of her disrespect. I'm scheduling her for a surgury. I need your help." She sent Tenten a threatening glare, daring him to protest.

Tenten’s eyes shown in complete disapproval, but judging from the look in Rella’s eyes there wasn’t really much he could do. If he didn’t help, the girl would probably carry on by herself and SZ103 would be even worse off than before. That wasn’t something that Tenten wanted. Looking down, he sighed and nodded. “What surgery do you have planned?” he asked numbly. Maybe he could give some anesthesia or something that would make the pain go away for a bit, at least partially. And if Rella didn’t want him to, he’d just have to sneak it to her because Tenten made it a point to try and be as humane as he could to the creatures made.

Amorica's eyes shown with fear, and she stared at Tenten almost desprately. Though she had never spoken directly to him, she knew that he was one of the kinder scientists. She had seen him walk past her cell every once in a while. But no matter who the scientist was, they all though she was a simple experiment; a simple number in a system of many barcodes. But that wasn't true. She had no memory of her past, but deep down in her mind, she knew that at one time, she had been human. She wasn't created in a lab. She had been human just like the rest of the scientists who worked there.
Rella ignored Amorica's pleading look towards Tenten. Truthfully, experiments disgusted her. There may have been at time when she had felt genuine pity for them, but she no longer felt it. Tugging slightly at the metallic wing, she smiled in amusement. "I'm not sure. Do you really think she needs two wings? They're not even useful for flight," she stated. With that, she took Amorica's chin in her icy fingers and gripped it tightly. "Perhaps we 'ought to rip one of them out. See how well her body withstands it."

Tenten did his best to avoid looking into SZ103’s eyes as his logical brain took over. “To pull out her wings would be a waste. We spent a lot of money attaching them in the first place. I think that if you want to see how well someone would last with only one wing, you should start a new experiment of your own. We should keep this one to observe how long her body can withstand loosing so much blood, because the average human would have died of shock by now.” His face was completely emotionless by now, and he was ready for whatever terrible thing was to follow.
