Rella sent Tenten a piercing glare. "Would you volunteer to be the experiment?" she growled. Roughly, she through the experiment to the ground like a broken doll and watched her wince in pain. "I don't care how much money it costs. We have more than enough." Honestly, she hated how soft Tenten could be. Experiments needed to learn to behave, and the only way to teach them that was through their own pain. "If you don't want to waste money on the surgury, than I can do it right here. Would you like that?" Her anger was now directed at Tenten as well as the experiment. "I could easily rip that useless wing off. Shall I try?"

Tenten raised a brow, placing a hand on his lip lightly. “You’re acting irrationally. We both know that it will cost more than just the surgery; we’re going to have to at least pretend to try and save her if we don’t want to get in trouble. We’re on camera, remember?” he narrowed his eyes, not about to back down; “If there’s a logical surgery that you would like to perform, I can help you. But if you do something just for abuse, I’m not going to be able to stand for it.”

Rella sent Tenten a glare of pure hatred. He was so caring sometimes, it made no sense for him to even be working there. However, there he was. She reached down and gave the metallic wing a final violent pull before stomping off, heading to bug other experiments.
Amorica laid on the ground, pain shooting through her back. She wasn't sure what had happened, but she knew that all the tugging of the wing had definately disconnected something. It hung more limp than the other one. Her body hurt so bad that she refused to move. She simply lay with her cheek resting against the cold floor, taking shallow breaths, her tears mixing with her own blood. It would be at least a few days before she were able to go visit Tsugi again.

Tenten’s eyes twitched slightly as Rella gave the wing a last pull, but sighed and kneeled down next to SZ103. “I was hoping I could spare you, but it looks like you’re going to need some surgery anyway to reattach that wing and stop some of the bleeding...” he murmured to himself, taking the bloody creature in his hands gently and taking walking her into a medical room. The first thing he did was take out a needle with a strong numbing medicine, placing a hand on her lower back. “You’re going to feel a small prick in your back, but this’ll make it feel better, I promise.” He quickly injected the medicine, taking the needle out and getting more for the other wing. He wished he could just put her to sleep, but that wouldn’t have worked out so well with how unsteady her condition was. Tenten was afraid it might kill her.

Albion immediantly shed the white shirt he was wearing and stepped up onto the platform where Lavina was curled up and moaning. He kneeled down beside her, turned her face towards him and began dabbing her face dry of the liquid as gently as he could. Realizing his shirt was quickly becoming useless, he decided it was best to take her to his room and finish the job. Albion wrapped his arms under her back and the nook behind her knees and quickly made his way out the developing room and down the hall into his small resting quarters. Setting her on his bed, Albion grabbed a spare sheet and crawled onto the bed to continue to dry her off, working his way down her bare body. He felt for the poor thing..just being braught into the world, then being wisked off to some strangers bed to be dried of the liquid that covered her body. What a way to begin life. As Albion reached her stomach, a familiar voice rung in his ears from behind him. "Already at it, are you Albion? You just couldn't wait could you?" The dark haired man said teasingly with a playful glint in his deep blue eyes as he leaned on the doorframe. Albion Paused, annoyance quickly rising within him. Why did it have to be this man, of all scientists, to have created him? "Now's not the time, Sloane." Albion said, brushing a few gooey strands of hair from Lavina's face and slipping off the bed to kneel down next to it so Lavina wouldn't feel trapped or scared. "How cold." Sloane replied carelessly as he took a few steps towards Albion and Lavina. "I just wanted to see my newly born creation....no need to get upity." "If you want to help, get some clothes instead of staring at her." "No need to worry, Lucetta is already on her way with the girl's clothes."

Lavina let Albion handle her, since she was really too weak to at the moment and needless to say scared. The pressure in her ears had decreased quite a bit and the feeling of air in her lungs began to feel more and more natural, so she wasn't in too much pain at least. She concentrated on Albion's face as he dried her off and touched it with her gooey hands when she remembered that that was her goal in the tank, but of course was unable to succeed it because of the glass between them. When Slaone walked in though, she stopped touching his face and flopped her arms back down to her side and looked over towards the new stranger. After a few exchanging of words that Lavina could not comprehend, another stranger came in: Lucetta, who immidiately dropped the clothes she was bringing to Lavina and gasped. "AWWWWWWWWWWW. She's.. So.. Beautiful!!" she squeaked clapping her hands, "I can't believe I wasn't there for her birth. T_T Oh that little brat in the experiment room is gonna pay for it! I missed the birth of my very own baby!!" Lavina covered her ears from Lucetta's loud voice and groaned, turning her head to the pillow.

Amorica held back a cry of pain as she felt the needle prick her back. It felt like he had poked her where the barcode was, just below her wing. Tears gathered in her eyes, but she said nothing. Her head was pounding from all the stress, and though she was used to the site of her own blood, she didn't like it. At least Tenten was rather gentle, and actually cared about what happened to her. Well at least he acted like it. She wasn't sure if he actually cared. Her breaths seemed rather blocked from the pain, but she could have cared less. She didn't fully understand what the point of the wings on her back was. They were useless as far as flight. All they did was cause pain and blood loss. Was it a simple test at the length of human life? They seemed especially cruel; doing something so awful to someone simply to see how long they could survive it. At the many thoughts going through her head, she cried silently, not wanting to seem as weak as she felt.

Tenten put the needle down and picked up a scalpel. “It shouldn’t hurt anymore, but if it does please say something. I can’t give you anything more to numb you, but I can do things that will block the pain receptors in your brain,” he cut her shirt open, looking over the skin to assess where he needed to cut and sew.

The pain subsided slightly, which was good. She closed her eyes and gulped. "Why do you do this?" Her voice was almost silent and choked with tears. She couldn't understand why anyone would volunteer to work at such a horrid place. Besides, Tenten seemed like such a kind person. She didn't understand any of it. She stared at the wall, waiting for his answer.

Tenten sighed, looking over the still freely bleeding wings. He’d need to stop as much of that as possible if he wanted both for SZ103 to live and if he wanted to be able to see what he was doing. Putting down the scalpel, he heated a piece of iron over a controlled flame, glancing back to the experiment. “I do what I need to,” he said simply, not having any particular answer to the question. He didn’t know why this was started or the real purpose of half the experiments, but he assumed it had something to do with creating super-human organisms. Most likely ones that would be used in wars. He swallowed once the strip of metal was red, turning off the fire. “Now... This is probably going to hurt even with the medicine, but it will stop the bleeding. Brace yourself, please,” he gave her a weak smile before walking down and pressing it against the wound suddenly, closing up most of the blood vessels. Tenten lifted it back up after a few seconds, the smell of burning flesh putrefying the air around him.

Amorica held in a scream of pain as she felt her flesh burn painfully. Tears rolled down her cheeks, though she tried not to shake with sobs, for fear she would mess up the scientist. She was sick of experiments. So sick of surguries and blood. Creating creatures to go to war? What was the point. Sending them to their death. Pain racked her entire body, and she felt almost unable to speak. "If I told you to kill me, what would you do?" Still, her voice was quite hard to hear, and quivered slightly with pain and tears.

Tenten picked up the scalpel again, and used it to completely detach the top of the wing, where it was the most damaged. “I wouldn’t. I... I couldn’t stand to kill another human,” his frown deepened, and he put down what he was holding to get medical staples, a needle for sewing, and some water to wash it all out. Sighing, started the tedious job of reconnecting all the different ligaments and muscle tissue. He probably could have made an extremely good doctor, but that was beyond anything possible at the moment. He shouldn’t have even been out of the mental hospital his parents put him in.

Amorica stared off into the wall, not knowing how to respond. Deep down, she didn't want to die, but at the same time, she did. She wanted to be rid of all the pain and suffering she had to go through. "Could you even call me a human being anymore?" she questioned quietly. By now, she was able to ignore the blood and pain. She slowly closed her eyes, though she wasn't tired in the least bit. She simply wanted to shut out the scene before her; to only have to take in the sounds.

Tenten continued SZ103 up, bobbing his head in a tiny nod. “Yes... You’re one of the more human-like experiments housed here. More so than that Tsugi you were caught seeing. But even the ones that are part animal are still human... They can still feel and think just as well as anyone else.” He was almost done stitching everything up, and then he could go on to stapling the wound shut. Tenten used a bit of the water to rinse it out, dabbing away the excess liquid with a disinfected towel.

Letting out a quiet sigh, Amorica opened her eyes once more. "Then what makes us deserve this anymore than the rest of you?" she asked quietly. She really wanted to understand everything, though she knew that was probably unlikely. She was glad that Tenten was the one to fix up her wing, knowing he was one of the kindest scientists available.
